Why I Love Being a Coach:  "Coaching gives me an opportunity to support professionals and foster in the next generation of educators.  I love collaborating with teachers and helping them to improve their practice.   I always enjoyed teaching math with a hands-on approach. I especially loved turning fractions and decimals into game shows that my students would play. This ties into the importance of joy in the classroom.  When joy is a facet of great instruction, that is when true learning occurs."

Why I Love Being a Coach: " I enjoy being a coach because of the opportunity I have to recognize strengths in others and empower others to grow in their practice. Being an Instructional Coach allows me to support educators in ways that are collaborative, responsive, non-evaluative, reflective and deeply impactful.  Instructional coaching also allows me to stay grounded in both pedagogy and people. I get to share practices, discuss challenges, and celebrate wins while building trusting and respectful relationships. It’s incredibly rewarding helping teachers see the impact of their decisions on student learning through the power of collaboration."
